This was a very random trip, at this stage we were not planning another O/S trip for a while. We had just been to Hawaii in May of this year, but the idea of a cheap and eventfull holiday was too good to pass up.
It came about by Josh's parents showing us their happy snaps from when they went in 2006, for the price it just seemed awsome. I think it was about 2 weeks later after a few little discussions it was all booked and the deposit paid!! Im sure quietly it was much to my husbands discust, he's not very good at stopping me convincing him to head off on our next overseas trip!!
As for our travel history, just to get the ball rolling, well i went on a Contiki tour in 2004 throu Europe for close to a month with a grilfriend, what an eye opener.... and thats when that bloody travel bug got me!!
Josh and i travelled to Fiji and we stayed at Sonasali Resort for our Honeymoon in 2005 and then there was Hawaii, a two week adventure with 2 other couples. I tell ya i couldve easily stayed in Waikiki...
As everyone would know the travel warnings and just the general overall populations opinion of Bali have been abit daunting, mainly for josh. But whatever happens, happens. Its going to be an awsome holiday! Plus this will be the first (and probably last) time the two of us have spent a Christmas and Newyear on our own away from friends and family!
