I have always been interested in photography. I considered studying it when I finished high-school...but I didn't. After many years of searching for my passion I realized it lay behind the lens of a camera and was highly accentuated by my love and thirst for travel.I cannot in my wildest dreams imagine a better lifestyle than taking photography to all the corners of the Earth. I believe in photography as an incredible medium of narration and try to bring 'truth' to the stories I tell through it. So many moments become lost in time and incredible responsibility lies in the the ability to honestly and beautifully represent such a moment in an image. I believe I should be chosen for this experience because I am absolutely dedicated to making the most of this experience. I am an extremely keen learner and take criticism on board as I know it is essential to my growth both as a photographer and as a human being. Everything inside me tells me I will be a professional photographer and this is the next step in creating that reality. Thank-you for considering my application.
