My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Since I was little my parents told me I used to build camera's made of lego and pretend to photograph my surroundings, I then received by first disposable camera and went crazy taking photos around the streets and the people of my neighbourhood. Now, being 23, that excitement of capturing a moment has never died. I seek to photograph and document the places I travel so that my surroundings are imprinted and never forgotten. Although I have upgraded since then to a Canon 5D MII, I still have a love for the analogue and use as many opportunities to still use my film cameras from my past. My passion is tied with travelling and seeing new cultures and new places, and have the opportunity to travel to Europe, Asia, Africa, United States, New Zealand and of course my home country Australia, usually with my twin sister as my travel partner. To gain this scholarship would mean the world to me so that I may learn how to advance in doing what I love as well as advancing in my photography skills. I recently just graduated from university and have the world at my feet and am waiting for an opportunity like this to come along!
