My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

The fire lookout post of the old mining town Kaapschehoop has a view which stretches over the entire Barberton Valley in the Mpumalanga province, South Africa. The tower also provides shelter for the fire watchman, whose vigilant gaze is especially crucial during the dry winter season.
