The photos I have selected reflect a lot of me and my passions in photography. I love landscape shots and capturing the wonder that is nature, I believe there is nothing more beautiful than the natural wonders that exist around us. Earlier this year I went on a trip to New Zealand, and believe that Milford sound is one of the most jaw dropping and photographically inspiring places on earth. It is an untapped source of mountainous terrain with snow-capped mountains; powerful water falls and ever present sea creatures. I believe I should be chosen, as photography is a passion I have enjoyed from as young as I have been given a camera to hold. I feel a sense of peace and calm when I am out in the world just my camera and myself, and roaming different landscapes and terrains in search of that one powerful, beautiful image that captures all that is pure in the world is what I love. At present it is just a hobby and weekend joy that I indulge in to escape for a while from stresses in life, and I believe to be able to complete something you love as get to call is your full time occupation would be an unthinkable accomplishment. I would endlessly appreciate this opportunity to invest further in my photography and improve my photographic skills. To be able to travel to a country such as South Africa, with such rich colourful, untouched landscapes and a colourful history to match, while under the guidance of a seasoned professional would be an amazing opportunity, and I am appreciative of even the opportunity to be considered.
