My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

I can´t remember a part of my life in which I have not found a small or big reason to be amazed by my surroundings. I always had a secret love for photography, water and what might be underneath the surface. And yes, it was secret because for many years I lived up to expectations that were not really my own. I went to university and studied for international business and was hired by Procter & Gamble as a trainee at 20. I though I had it all, because I had good grades, a great job and a pretty girlfriend, but something was missing. I quit P&G and traveled around Asia as a Team Leader, teaching students about personal potential, goal setting and life skills. This changed my life and in 2010 I decided to move to Playa del Carmen, where I decided to live a more simple life and became a tour guide. I soon fell in love with ocean photography. The feeling I get of diving with my camera is not explainable. When I am composing a shot, my breathing gets heavy, my heart beats and when I click and see on the screen what has been created, I feel like showing the world so maybe others can also fall in love with the ocean, or a least grow some conciousness about it´s importance and beauty.
