My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Egypt | Monday, January 14, 2013 | 5 photos
My passion for photography started with black and white photos in high school. I still remember the original smell at the developing lab.
Just after I finished high school I became owner of my first analog SLR camera. This Canon accompanied me on the cruise ship I was working on around the world. My spare time was spent taking photos. Amazing memories documented on positive slides.
The change from analog to digital occurred after university, but the passion for collecting more adventurous memories remains the same. However, the desire to capture it all on photographs and to tell my own story with it, became stronger and more creative. While working in Egypt at a diving centre, I got introduced to the big blue and underwater photography became a new passion.
Currently, I am working as a marketing manager and I am happy with my everyday life, yet my inner free spirit seeks for another adventure. Hence, I believe the Travel Photography Scholarship would give me the chance to break out of my daily routine. I would be happy to learn more exciting photographic techniques by Jason Edward as well as to discover Oman, where I have never been before.
Yours faithfully,
Zsuzsa
