RUSSIAN FEDERATION | Friday, 1 April 2011 | Views [607]

Long Sluggish Hours Passed In Since I Arrived to Moscow Airport, Waiting For The second Flight, Then to a Short Trip Into The Republic Of Tatarstan – A Russian Federation Republic – Specifically To “Elabuga”, The City That always Welcomes You..This corner Of The World That I Never Thought That I Would Have The Opportunity To Visit One Day, And To get to Know More About Such Cultures With All Of Its Details Closely, I Was Officially Invited To Participate In The International Art Symposium “Elabuga 2010″ To Represent Egypt At This Event Which was Organized Within The Activities Program Of ” Elabuga State Historical And Architectural And Art Museum-Preservation Area (ESMPA) “, with a Theme entitled ” The Breath Of The Epos “, This Theme was Chosen By The Artist ” Salavat Gilyazetdinov” To Create A Communicational Lingual Bridge To Unit Artists And Marshal Between Their Cultures. This Year, And For The First Time, The Symposium Gained The International Situation, After It Was Restricted To The Soviet Union Countries, Although It’s The Fifth Session, These International Participations Added To The Event The Importance Of Glamor And A Different View That Widening Spotlight Of Cultural Beyond The Boundaries Of Great Russia, Through The Presence Of All of Us -The Ambassadors Of Cultures- In One Place, Not Only To Work And To Know The Contents Of The Other Hidden Worlds, But Also To Get Acquainted And Gain New Friendships, Despite The Different Languages..But Always Art Can Brings Us Together.

We Spent The Days Between Working In Studios And Excursions, Elabuga Is One Of The Most Russian Cities Full Of Museums And Historic Sites, As We Visited (The Museum Of Medicine -The Silver Age Library – The Memorial House Of Artist Ivan Shishkin and Poet Marina Tsvetaeva – A Road Called “The Devil Road” Overlooking The Holy Kama River) And Other Places That Takes Your Breath Away.

Hours Passed Quickly Between Pleasure With What Is New And Inspiring, And The Positive Tense Moments To Reach The Maximum Level Of Creativity, All Of Us Wanted To Express Our Insiders, Ideas And Legacy Of The Culture With Honesty And High Artistic Sophisticated Performance, We also wanted to Find The Balance Between Style And Artistic Vision And Between The Preservation Of The Spirit Of The Epic Affected By The Artist, Artists have Depicted Epics Such As: Myths Of Creation, Veterans And Historical Battles, Heroic Epics, Tales Of The Pure Love And Devotion, The Inherent Conflict Between Good And Evil, in addition to, Stories About Nations Migrations, Greek Mythology And Legends, Such As The Hyper Sensitive Artist “Yuri Svinin” Who Has Been Inspired By Me As A Model In His Masterpiece Which Is So Dear To My Heart ” Sleeping Eurydice “Depicting The Goddess Of Beauty, “Aphrodite “, And Also The Young Tatar Artist” Bulat Gilvanov” Who We Attended One Of His Solo-Shows were Coincided With The Opening Ceremony Of The Symposium, Which Was Generally Inspired By Women, Died Creaturely Bulgarian Fighter Women, With All The Feminine Feelings, Expressions And Dreams But Within The Framework Of Emotions And War Horses, Customs And Tools, And Showed The Visual Contrast Between Being A Female Warrior Prowess Of This Talented Handsome Artist In A Simulated Reality By His Own Brush Strokes.

Between This And That I Found That My Character Was Slightly Different ,Because Each Of Them Depicted A Specific Myth Or Tale. Yet, I’ve Been Inspired By The Spirit Of An Entire Civilization, Egyptian Civilization With All It’s Full Fabulous Details And Beliefs Of My Immortal Ancestors.

The Egyptian Mythology Is One Of The Most Important Aspects Of Religion Of Ancients Because It Reflect Thoughts And The Doctrine Of The Ancient Egyptians, Gods Lives And Their Actions Is Wide Rich Material For The Priests To Spin Around. Many Stories Have Become Famous Legends. They have Become The Backbone Of the Egyptian Religion, That What Inspires Me All the way, Especially Everything Related To Women In The Pharaohs Era In General And Queens in Particular, Their Costume, Gold Accessories And Colorful Crowns are so precious inspiring items for me. Also, The Greatness Of This Culture, Which Full Of Prided Glory Extends Throughout History And Will Never Vanish Away With The Passage Of Time. All of This depictions Has Created Innovation In Frames, A Different Methodology, Professional Functionality, And A Variety Of Ink And Wax Drawings, mixed-media techniques, Recycled-Paper Pulp, Collage, Dried Floral, Batik And Relief, Lino-cut And Photography. A Week Elapsed Like A Few Hours until the exhibition opening ceremony, Inauguration Was Attended By His Majesty The Vice-Prime Minister Of Tatarstan, And Her Excellency The Minister Of Culture, “Zilia Valeeva”, The Celebration Began with a Folklore Dance Of The Indian Artist “Shinod Parambil” Was Complementary To The ambiance of “Theyyam” the depicted Reddish God. Then The Minister Greeted Us And Gave Us The Symposium Certificates Of Appreciation And Gifts To Honor Us, Praised On The Quality Of the exhibited Art works, Praised The Expected Success, then the international artists made A Thanks speech For Inviting Us To Participate In This Unforgettable Event, And The Gratitude And Appreciation To Everyone Who Contributed To The Success Of This Interesting Experience, which Will Be Engraved In The Heart And Minds Of All Who Participated In This Beautiful Dream That Ended Reluctantly .. And When The Clock Declared The Most Difficult Moments Of Farewell, It Was Necessary To Admit That This City With All It’s Natural Scenes, Breezes, Shrines Of Historical And Variable Climate Was The Source Of Inspiration To all of Us, it Gave Me Personally A wider space Of Mental Calmness And Physical Qualifications For Work And Creativity, In Addition To Hospitality And The Smiling Faces Of The People Of This Inspiring Small Geographically-Large Valuable City, where i Did Not Expect To Find All This Generosity Comparable To The Well-Known Egyptian Generosity,Good Treatment And How To Estimate Any Human Being, Especially If he is An International Artist..It’s Really A City That Welcomes You Always. . It Is “Dear Elabuga”.
