Well its coming to an end in New york, but has been great to visit. Not sure if many of you would even like to live here, just come see the place. You would def have to get into a New York City crazy life style. I think i could do it, it would just take a little to get use to it. I pretty much have the crossing the streets down pat, there is a nik to it otherwise you will be las across the road and stuck behind all the slow people. I think i have nearly gotten leash hit by cars a few times, but she is still with me.
Yesterdat we Went to the Statue of Liberty and caught the ferry out to it so we could get up nice and close, then we went to ground zero, wasnt very good, they are building something that wont be finished till sept 11th 2009 so all we got to see was crains and big fences. So we decided to get a little sneaky and went to burgry king which is like 3 stories so we could see out the window and take photos over the fence. When people saw what we were doing so many followed us....hehe... yeah its just a massive gap where there is heaps of tall buidings around, and alot of construction happening inside.
We then went to the American sports museum which suprise suprise is all about americaans.... After all that walking around we caught the subway home. Oh at the start of the day when we got on the train, after about 10 min we realized we were going the wrong way so had to get off and change, the train transport is crazy, if you saw it u would understand how we managed to get the wroong train.
To day we walked all the way to the Crysler Building, you cant go up it but just inside the doors. got some photos there, then went to Grand Central Station, you no where movies like Home Alone was filmed...
we are going to eat at morgan freemans place tonight, his food is so good... so then after today 2 more days left here then ill be with my brother and other sister and Amy..... Yea.....
oh the yesterday walking home we saw a body bag coming out of a building on a stretcher going into a white van with 2 police walking beside it.... crazy as but i dont think its so strange for them here. they didnt worry about stopping us walking on the streets or anything. The one thing about New York is that if there wasnt siren and police cars going every second of the day then something would really be wrong.
Well got the sez in the city tour tomoz then Niagara Falls friday, which we are getting picked up at 520am then taken to the airport then we have to fly there and have a tour all day, its going to be a big day... then saturday i leave New York.
So i guess this is it from New York City.
big hugs to everyone.
Love you all
Mel
xoxoxo
P.S
lots of those hurricans coming our way, there is ment to be one hitting the city or around it on saturday when we fly out, so hopefully our flights are delayed because of it...
