My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

Being born in the Ruhr area in Germany, I was blessed - or maybe others would say forced – to have an eye for another kind of beauty. It is the second one, the less obvious, an ambient and not an de facto beauty. That’s where I started to take and develop pictures with 13 years. Since then I always tried to combine my interest in our planet, humans and photography, which made me studying Geography and Art History. It is an ideal marriage between disciplines to know what you want to say and how you want to say it. But as in every good marriage there are bad times too. The ones that overcome a relationship crisis are the ones that are willing to learn. My geographic curiosity and my photographical behavior are ready for this learning experience and they need a second honeymoon in the Oman and Jason as their couple therapist.
For this scholarship I bring beside an advanced photographic and geographical knowledge skills, which you can’t learn at University or work: readiness of mind, creativity, an easy way to approach people, some Life experience and a pinch of good humor.
