My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited
Egypt | Saturday, December 1, 2012 | 5 photos
A 23 years, medical student, in love with travelling and adventure, before I bought my dSLR last June; I had a point and shoot camera and my friends always admired my photos, so I decided to learn photography; I have self learnt photography online; through tutorials, books and DVDs.
I am an amateur photographer doing my hobby for pleasure, with big interest in traveling, night and conceptual photography.
I always try to grab every chance to learn something new from more experienced photographers like sharing in photo critique groups or amateurs Exhibitions – I won a couple of awards -. That’s what mainly encouraged me to apply for your scholarship; it is a huge opportunity to work with such professional photographers on a real mission.
I am still a student, so I can't afford investing - at least at the current time - in expensive photography equipments, courses and workshops, so your scholarship is like a dream I’ve always had.
I am a committed, hard worker, quick learner, team player, with good management skills, and I have a relatively good experience in travelling and Arab world culture as a native Arabic speaker.
