Well here we are, Friday night, T minus 2 days and a bit and the butterflies in our stomachs are having a party!
We're both sitting here in front of our computers surfing the internet and trying to figure out how many more things we need to buy and do before we leave; there's lots! including moving out of our flat and buying a ton of gear but we should manage!
Going on this trip together will be for both of us a drastic change from anything we've ever done and a truly awe inspiring and life changing experience! hopefully this will be the beginning of a long line of trips all over the world! We've read countless journals, gone to lectures and still dont know quite how we're going to react to the shock that is India with its sights and sounds, odours and flavours but we know its going to be incredible and romantic, exciting and frustrating, beautiful and grimy relaxing and unnerving so basically we're bouncing off the walls with anticipation but we dont know whats going to hit us!!
We've done our homework (mostly) and are (almost) ready to leave for this incredible journey that scares me and excites me at the same time! We'll be using this blog to update you all on where we are, what we've done and seen and generally letting you know we're alive and breathing. hopefully we'll get the chance to upload some photos and tell some funny stories along our journey so keep checking back!
