I am just an ordinary person. I am just an ordinary person who looks for the magic and the beauty in the simple, in the everyday, in the ordinary. When I was a little girl my grandparents would come home from overseas holidays and we would get together for a slide night. As the pictures flicked over I sat in awe of the beautiful places and stunning scenery. It was on those nights that my love for travel and my desire to catch those precious moments was created. From rolls of film to digital files, I've been taking photographs for as long as I can remember. Australia to Alaska, France, Portugal and Japan, with other countries and places in between; my camera is always there. It is ready to catch the moments and the memories, those little things that bring a smile to your face when you're home again. This travel scholarship would enable to me learn more about photography, understand new cultures and have an amazing adventure. It would be the experience of a lifetime.
