Adventure travel is what I live for! Whether it be trekking the Mt Blanc Trail, diving with sharks in Belize, cycling the highways & byways of Vietnam or in this instance discovering Morocco.

I have an insatiable thirst for exploring distant & exotic lands. I thought this thirst would be quenched as I got older, however I have never been more parched in my life!

The people, culture, food, architecture and landscapes awaken an unsated longing to explore, discover and experience everything this world has to offer!

This thirst recently led me to Morocco where I trekked the Atlas Mountains, rode camels through the Sahara, got lost in the mazes of Fes and fished in seaside Essaouira.

These cities all feature in my photos’. Taken with an Olympus ‘point & shoot’ I am in desperate need of mentoring when it comes to all things technical-camera-related.

Megapixels, ISO, Shutter Lag, Focal Length… what are these things? I am intimidated by this jargon and just want to be in amongst it, using my creativity and eye for good angles and actually take photos. Instead of being bombarded by technical-speak.

I do understand to improve my photography I need to get a grip on this ‘language’. And what better way to do this then under the expert tutelage of Jason Edwards in the bushveld of South Africa!
