Just back from a night cruise of the Melaka river, it was really nice with lighting all along, a 45 minute journey up and back. Only MYR10 - $4. I'm not sure when you will read from me again. Tomorrow I attempt to stuff my pack, attempt to offload some at the post office. Then I take a bus 2-3 hours to Johor Bahru and then about an hour back to the coast to Pontian. Not sure what facilities are there and I ha'ven't made any bookings but the net says there are a couple of hotels - I think both dearer than here. So we'll chill and see what transpires. As to what perspires - me. Its a bit embarrassing to get brand new notes from the atm, and when taken out of the money belt they are limp and damp, that's through all the layers of fabrics.
