You call that a foot massage?

Well Kathie you know I prefer experiences to things. You know I prefer to spend money on things I don't have to carry, or store for the rest of my life.
So, well, one of the experiences I'd been anticipating for some months is a massage.
On the taxi ride yesterday I saw a big sign for massage and next thing we were at the hotel. The service was advertised at the lobby so I asked. The hotel staff here are lovely, very helpful. She said, the price included hotel pickup, she didn't know where the massage is but its somewhere nearby.
I paced it out and its 120metres from the hotel.
So yeah, I spent about 4 hours on my feet in sandals and reckoned that qualifies for a foot massage.
The foot massage cost 45MYR through the hotel and 35MYR direct, that's $14, for one hour. It was delicious. We had no English communication but discovery channel was on, somewhat incongruous as I was learning about coal mining in USA and parcel delivery while breathing in oil of wintergreen.
She found bits of my feet I didn't know I have. She had a tool. It rhymes with cruel. The tool could be gentle or cruel. She did things with the tool to every part of the feet, to the sides of my toes, stroked, tickled .... and made me go aaaah and ping! and pow! with no forewarning. A lovely soothing massage up to my knees and then when I wasn't expecting, crack! She pulled all my toes crack crack one by one. We're both laughing by now.
Then she comes round behind me and pulls my arms, and twists my head off my neck, does things to parts of me where I never knew I had feet. Heeeeeee! Whaaah?
It finished with a cup of very strong ginger tea.
I felt really good, It was great to have this experience and go straight to bed, my legs and feet were silky smooth.
Felt I'd wake up bruised all over, but I haven't.
