Tuesday 7am, since 1984 Prof Parsonson's lectures I've wanted to visit Melaka and this is the day.
Last night a filling dinner of noodles and wantons with green vege and thin meat slices. The highlight was apple juice - not from a can, from two apples including the skin. With some sweetener it was just delicious, MYR 4.20. The meal and drink cost me NZ$3.50.
Just had my final brekkie at 'ristorant Mydina' - clarify that yummy teh tarik is 1.00 there - 40 cents NZ - brewed powder tea, condensed milk and a 3rd liquid it could be milky or sweet.
Thanks for your comments, which I have deleted after writing down. Glad to hear about Rod Knowles. Anzac will be in flower, hanging, now? Not sure how I will find an internet cafe in Melaka. I will be at Time Hotel, Melaka Raya.
Smile Hotel and the Mydina people have been so nice I will write a reference on 'tripadvisor' if I can log on, so look for that.
