Hi there. I'm Mel. I was born in Malaysia but I currently reside in Perth, Western Australia. I first picked up the camera when I was 9 years old. Dad gave me a really old camera knowing that I would most likely break it, but I didn't. (The camera lived well and was passed on to someone else for good use when I got my own new one :) )
As a kid I have some memories of being photographed by film cameras because digital cameras didn't exist till the last decade or something. The films in the rolls was like a movie with clips of memories in there. Kinda made me like photos even more because you capture the moment.
