I've lived in many places but am just a newbie when it comes to travelling of my own accord.
I love to write and this journal is an attempt to chronicle my trysts with the world - whether it's the beguiling, volatile serenity of Nairobi, Kenya - where I grew up - or the vivacious big-city charm of Toronto, Canada - where I spent a brief but cherished sojourn - or the charming hybrid culture of Hyderabad, India, where I earned my journalism degree two years ago.
I resent being rooted but am currently based in Ahmedabad, the city I was born in and returned to in 2006. It's a loud, dusty emerging metropolis where the sun blazes year-round and alcohol is legally prohibited.
