My name is Megan Killeen, I am 18 years of age and currently studying a level 6 photography course in Dublin, Ireland. Ever since I was 13 I've had a love for photography. I only really got into it when I was 16, I started using my Dad's camera and running around taking pictures of anything and everything. I knew it was what I wanted to do since a young age. I am still quite young and have very much ahead of me. This scholarship would open my eyes to the bigger world of photography I've always wanted to discover and be a part of. It would be such an honor to get to travel to a country so beautiful and different to where I live. I have been lucky to travel since I was a child and have gotten to experience different cultures. Travelling and photography are two of my passions in life, this opportunity would mean more than words to me. I would work incredibly hard for a job like this. I would never complain as an opportunity like this comes once in a lifetime. If I was chosen for this competition I would soak up every little bit of it and I know I would learn so much from it. Thank you for your time, even if I don't win I look forward to seeing the beautiful photographs of Oman.
