I made back to Portland without incident last night.  For all of you who may have been concerned about the politics I talked about in my Merida entry, I found out that internet in Venezuela is still private and independent, so it is not monitored.  I didn't put myself or those I talked about in danger by writing what I did. 

I had a really good time in Venezuela and am really glad a had a few extra weeks before I start work so I could go.  Venezuela is a great country, although it has its problems.  If anyone is going to Venezuela, you should definitely make a stop by Venezuela, at least the Andes and Los Llanos.  Below are links to my photos, I just tested them and they all work.  Enjoy.
