My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

" Take care of your minutes and hours will take care of themselves" as they say. Photography just helps me taking care of my minutes.

I am basically a Mechanical Engineer working as senior engineer at Larsen and Toubro Ltd. Born and brought up in Ahmedabad. I have in my family a father who is a retired businessman, mother who is a housewife and a sister who is studying Architecture.

Being born in a middle class family , I never had a hand on camera since I was 18. Three years back, my father gifted me a Canon 1000D and changed the way I look around. I always wanted to break into something I love but the uncertainty and the amount of investment one has to put into this has always kept me out of my passion. So I always look forward to build my portfolio as a amateur photographer clicking anything and everything.

In last winter, I happened to visit two of the best places of Northern India - Darjeeling and Gangtok. I am showcasing my work with high hopes of getting selected by National Geographic for this scholarship. This will enable me to pursue my dreams which in turn will lead me to make other people realize their dreams and create a world where everyone does what one loves.
