At this point I had no idea where I was and that Big Ben is directly over my left shoulder.

Here is a partial view of the rooms that all the volunteers and Tanzanian teaching partners stayed in for the first week of orientation. I was in the building on the far right on the second floor. Our room consisted of a concrete floor, four pads, four bug nets and a room for a bathroom that was never finished. only two out of the four people in our room got locked inside at one point. Some teaching partners are playing cards in the middle of the photo.
