The Buriganga river in Bangladesh, that once gave life to Dhaka, is being choked to death by man. The local governing bodies in Dhaka are trying to sensitize people on protecting the environment with campaign slogans saying "Nodi Bachao. Manush Bachao" which means "Save the river. Save humankind." But no measures are actually being taken to stop the mistreatment of the river. Who cares anyway?
