My first time in Bolivia La Paz was one of the last places I visited in that country when I got there one of the first rumors I heard was that there was a cocaine bar in the city and it was only open to tourists, bolivians are not welcome there. The third night my exgirlfriend and the other couple that we met at the hostel and I took a cab and we went to Ruta 36 which it was actually very close to the Prision people say the coke comes from there based on a very popular book among travelers and stories from locals when you get is to such place there is no lights or signs only taxi drivers parked on a dark street in the middle of the city and a few bouncers just walking around the taxi driver pulls over one of the bouncers gets close and asks -how many? I said- 4- he talks to the other guys through the walkie talkie and the he says- come with me quickly- and we get in to what it looked like an empty building up the stairs on the second floor with 2 more metal bar doors closing behind us, one on each floor. And we are there a small place with a coke bar and a regular bar a lot of white people and lots of security, the rest you can imagine yourself.
