Many communities still live with the concept that girls are inferior, trapping them in a cycle of poverty when they deny them their education. Yet, numerous studies have proven that woman education is the most effective way to guarantee the long-term success of developing economies. 
Many organizations, such as the one this volunteer is working for, are making a valiant effort to fight poverty from its root by putting girls first.
