Pain and wonder. I pick up a National Geographic Magazine for the first time and thats all I can feel: Pain and Wonder.

I would love to say that the pain was some call from the deepest parts of my soul, however it was really just the pain throbbing through my mouth as I sat in a dentists office at the age of sixteen.

But the wonder, I owe that to the pictures within the magazine. Each picture stunned me, more then the last one. All looked impossible and completely different to anything I had experienced in Ireland. That was it, I had to get out of Ireland. Itchy feet had started. Nothing the dentist could do about that.

Since the age of 16, travel took over as my primary passion. I've been through many parts of Asia, Africa & Europe. But still so much more to see. To help aid my travel plans I joined a media course in an Irish College. My aim to be a cameraman and work on documentaries. After college I assisted on a number of documentaries and films, but nothing that quenched my travel bug. So last year I set off traveling around the world for 11 months, bringing my camera everywhere. I took photos that I hope would share peoples personality as well as mine.
