My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My life is taking a big turn and it’s something I am truly excited for. Last year I met my future wife, the love of my life and she is a travel blogger and writer.
A trip with her to Kenya and Paris this past October, inspired me to leave my career as an electrician. It must be fate because I have always been creative and I am now her photographer. Who would have known that my life would change so drastically and how incredibly uplifting it would feel?
Winning this contest would be an incredible start to our journey, a life of independent travel; one we’re beginning in June of this year in Southeast Asia. My aspiration to be a great photographer, one of the best, is so important to me and winning this contest would be such an inspiration.
I hope to develop the skill to capture the photos that inspire others to take up photography. I hope to learn how to turn what I see with my eyes and envision in my mind into a stunning photograph.
I hope to show the people of this world just how incredible and interesting it is by chronicling our world adventures through photos.
