My name is Matthew Walker from Sydney. My major passions are photography, travel and sport. I love to learn, and feel travel is the best way to do that as it not only teaches you a lot about the world, but even more about yourself.
I travel whenever I get the chance and love photography whilst abroad. My greatest fear when travelling is having my memory card stolen. A camera can be replaced, but photos definitely can’t, as each is unique. I post my travel photos online with descriptions for family and friends.
A visit to Oman alongside Jason would provide me with an amazing opportunity to develop my photography skills and open my eyes to a new culture and way of life. I'm most willing to learn more about techniques to gain the most out of my photography. With these skills, the images I capture will largely benefit the greater community by allowing them to gain an insight into the values and culture encountered throughout any event. I hope these images not only educate the community, but inspire them undertake their own cultural adventures. Taking my photography to the next level and capturing images of future travel to be published for the world to see would be a dream come true.
