Childrens of Cambodia, currently live very near the temples and many of them play and work around the Angkor ruins.

The Prasats or pyramidal towers simulate the mountain peaks, and the
central prasat represent the Mount Meru. The track with successive increases
through steep stairs, represents the ascent of the mount.
