I will try to briefly introduce myself. I was born in 1976 in Belgrade, Serbia, as Marija Sekularac. Since elementary school I was interested in various forms of art. From ballet ,through music school, so I eventually graduated Academz of Music as a ethnomusicologist.Field studies are something that I was fully occupied, and by the way developing my ''photographic eye''the field of ethnology. Frequent research trips connected me with the Young Researchers of Serbia, with which I, as their member, participated in many actions. As an early age I had contact with the camera, developed and immense desire to continuous shooting. Traveling with Young researchers were opened me for an incredible passion for photographing nature. At first I shoot the landscape, and then the details in addition to which many go by and not notice them, to run for a variety of insects, in order to capture the more interesting shot. I am completely self-taught, and everything I had learned, I`ve learned from own experimentation with various devices. There is the thrill of friends each time more and more, it was pulling me to experiment more and be even better. And even led me thinking to change the profession. Which i do not see as much change, since both require constant movement and always something new, which for me is a great joy. For a long time I have a desire to have good mentors and to advance the field of photography, but I could not find the people around me to take me down that road. When I accidentally saw a competition on who can register those who had no education in that field, I was delighted, and I saw my chance to achieve what you want long....
