My name is Mary-Ann Palmer. Im a photojournalist that grew up in South Africa. Im passionate about telling stories through images, meeting people and visiting places. Nature and light inspires me. Photography has the ability to speak when words sometimes fails us. Being a full time photojournalist Im at a stage in my life to make a leap into what really excites me which is Travel Photography. This is where I thrive in my being and with my camera, travelling, capturing and being in the unknown off destinations. Im a person with curiosity and an open heart and a open mind. Im open for all possibilities and I've learned to trust my instincts. I have the patience to wait for the light and the right moment. Im an opportunist and not scared to make decisions. If I do get this opportunity to work with you, I will dedicate my full attention and focus on the subject with sensitivity and excitement. This opportunity will bring me insight into the world off being a profesional travel photographer and with the knowledge I will gain on this trip, will allow me to express my own unique way off seeing the world around us. I am so ready for an experience like this.
