A greeting, my name is Mark and I am from the Philippines. I am a person who is often amazed with the beautiful things that surround us. I strongly believe these things that I find beauty with are the things that inspire and empower me to do my best in everything that I do. The passion for photography began at the age of 16 when I was a college freshman. At that time I would only mentally frame the picture of scenery or a subject in my mind and realized that this forms a certain kind of artwork. However, I was only a student at that time and I could not afford to buy camera for myself. For the whole time I was a student, I trained myself instead to look at things artistically. Fortunately, I was able to buy my DSLR camera two years ago. At this time, the whole imagery and my “eye” for this art was substantiated. I took interest in taking pictures of people and places. I realized that as a physician myself, I am able to connect more with reality such as people around me with the art of photography. Expressions from people of different backgrounds, places and culture have made me more aware of human behavior and be more inspired of my work and with photography in itself. Photography is a way to express myself and the world I am into. In my photography, I wanted to expose the world in a realistic way as it is. It is my goal to share to others that the beauty of this world should be preserved and to make this place called Earth a better place to live in.
