Rottnest Island - A natural wonder

Outside of the tourist precinct quokkas are harder to find. Luckily there are other species to catch the eye such as the rainbow bee eater.  These migratory birds visit the Island around November and dig a burrow in the ground to lay their eggs. This male is on the lookout for predators.
