Goa - Arambol

Well, finally in Goa, staying with my friend Anupama for a while.  She has an apartment above a German Bakery almost on the beach at Arambol, with a huge partly covered deck that we sleep out on and can look at the stars, the coconut palms and hear the ocean - what more could anyone want!
The temperature when I finally arrived was announced as being 33degs everybody else in the plane said "oh no!" and I said "YES!!!".

Arambol is an hour and a half drive from the Goa Airport north, right away from all the crowded beaches and lovely (still lots of Israelis and Russians everywhere though). We went for a swim just before sunset and stayed in the warm water until the orange sun went below the horizon, then showered, shopped and had a light dinner on the beach at one of the many beach huts, all have tables set with candles, as far as you can see along the beach.
My story is almost up to date; - Haven't put in yet that my train from Varanasi was 5 hours late, so I missed my flight on Wednesday to Goa.  But I was able to rebook for the next day, but it cost!

To be continued, as soon as I can drag myself from the beach, in the next day or so maybe!!!!!  Ah Bliss!!!!
