FOSSIL BOULDER - This rock has many ammonite impressions and vestige of bivalves. Many Mangyans who live in the vicinity are not aware of their scientific value. A lot of fossil marks had always been nibbled away by strong currents during the rainy season and floods.

HAWILI RIVER II - This is a tributary of Hawili River I. Unlike Hawili River I, this is characterized by rocks and immense jumble of boulders along its two and a half kilometers stretch. This is a rich vein of Jurassic marvels, especially of ammonites and bivalves. It is cradled in a lush landscape of vegetation. Brooding hills are planted to coconut, bamboo, palm trees, banana and a variety of fruit trees. Lofty trees have been reduced in number because of selective cutting and some were sacrificed to high charcoal demand in the last 4 years. For a new comer this rustic sight is lovely. During summer, the river flow no longer reaches down Hawili River I.

MAAY-HAY ROCK - There are more fossil rocks along the way deeper into the tributary. A close look of this one is simply amazing. A thick canopy of vines and bushes protect it throughout the year, as it is situated higher up in the bank.
