I am a Chinese/Australian currently living in Brisbane. After working as a photographers assistant in the commercial photographic industry for a few years I came to a realisation that travel photography is an area I would like to pursue. As mush as I love learning the technicalities of lighting and studio shooting, for me shooting outdoors in a travel context beats studio shooting anytime of the day! Why? Few things, obviously I love to travel, you get to meet such an amazing variety of people from different cultures, love the unexpected nature where anything can happen and you have to be sharp and on your toes, a camera when traveling is like a key into other peoples lives to hear their stories, finally it enriches me as a human being with even more gratitude & appreciation. The culture, people and things I experience provides me with more view points from which to navigate life and help others who need it in a more informed way. Why chose me? I am a very easy going and to get along with, very hard working, definitely don't mind getting dirty, I have a keen eye for light, details and photo opportunities, and finally strangers always find me easy to talk to!
