My Scholarship entry - A 'place' I have visited

My name is Dimitris, I'm 36 years old and live in Athens Greece. Born and raised in Germany, i moved to Greece when i was 18 to study and ended up never moving back. I'm an IT Technician (Computer Geek) but my life is not centred around a Computer. I love to be outdoors, interact with people and take joy in the small details in life. Thats where photography comes in. You can capture all the moments you think are precious, and discover a whole new world behind the small things you never saw at first place. This scholarship would be an opportunity for me to explore with and learn from a world renowned photographer. This would also be an opportunity to capture and explore a land and a culture so different from my own, since life hasn't yet given me the opportunity, to travel around the world. However even without winning the Scholarship, taking part in this entry was fun and a great experience on its own.
