My name is Malika Khashimova. I am from Tajikistan, lovely sunny country surrounded by mountains. I have been living here for my whole life, until the day I passed Future Leaders Exchange program and I left to Georgia, USA. On my way I visited Kazakhstan, Turkey and Germany. I always had passion for traveling and this trip had a huge impact on me. I knew that now I won't be scared to take any chance to see ll the places round the world.
When I got to USA my host family had a professional camera which they took to every trip or adventure we went on. That was the time when I knew - that's what I want! A camera to capture all the beautiful moments of every day. But it was to expensive for me to buy. After a year I have spent in USA, I promised myself that I will work and no matter what will get my very own camera. It finally happened last year, after 3 years of working, I bought my first camera - Canon EOS 1100D.
Here in Tajikistan we do not have any courses for photographers. Some of my friends who knew anything about it showed me how to use some techniques, but it was not enough for me.
Then I saw this post on Facebook about an opportunity for beginners like me to learn more.
