Magically lost in a million moments of discovery!

My first morning in Istanbul started like so many others on my European adventure, waking in a dorm room with 5 people I had only met the night before and that first moment of confusion when you completely forget where you are. It was hot and stuff in our tiny room and I could already hear the city waking up. As I crawl down form my top bunk the ''adhan'' echo's throughout the city, its hauntingly beautiful and sends shivers down my spine. My plan for the day: Walk, Explore, Get Lost, Experience. After an average hostel breakfast of cereal and bad coffee I head out to start my adventure. Dressed modestly in a full length skirt and loose fitting t-shirt, I still feel under dressed, I have my trusty pashmina tucked in my satchel for Mosque visits, a bottle of water and a basic map so I can make my way back to my hostel. The city is now alive with activity, locals and tourist alike rushing around. I head towards Taksim Square to take it all in..... to be continued ;)
