It's simple I really love to travel. I am facinated by other cultures and learning and understanding the world and all it's people. I believe we are all connected and feel it when I'm outside of my element, my own little world in Madison, WI. I've been travelling since childhood - my parents took a 2 week trip every year camping the US. That is where it all started. I was continually excited by the sites and the change in culture in the states. As an adult I continued to travel outside the US--Mexico 9 times, the caribbean and islands 10 times, then finally Europe, Ireland, Italy (3 times) Norway, Denmark and Sweden. A lot of this tralvel done while working a full time job and being a single parent. This year I retired and my life now focus' on my family, especially my granddaughter; my wonderful partner Bill and travel to new and interesting places.
In June I went to a travel lecture about SE Asia and was instantly fascinated by Vietman. I met a very nice women at that lecture-Eileen. We clicked and couldn't stop talking about going to Vietnam. As time went on we decided to go to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand. The discussions went from 3 weeks in Vietnam to 2 weeks in Vietnam and 3 weeks in Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand.
