Inspiration - The subject of my submission is a small girls choir (ANKOAY) in Madagascar and their director and teacher, Gabriel.
Gabriel/ANKOAY are currently conducting a local education/reforestation project in their local area. In exchange for English classes, Gabriel requires a certain number of trees to be planted by each of the students. Classes are all taught by candle light as they do not have electricity. Gabriel is also writing music that addresses education and conservation, locally and globally.
What am I doing? Trying to spread the word of their great un-sung efforts and the needs they have.
Ambition- To continue traveling and bringing good stories to light. There are people all over this planet doing great things for their community even in places that don't have or use electricity. I would like to help.
