My Photo scholarship 2011 entry
Worldwide | Tuesday, September 20, 2011 | 5 photos
Since entering High School I have studied a lot about the Media Industry. This carried on to Tertiary Education. I have travelled to remote locations on assignment and taken photographs and some developed myself. I consider it to be fun and if you can't enjoy this job than your not talented in this field. I live at home with my parents and am on the government benefit. I use this on my art work and photo's. I spend some days taking photo's of the native fauna and posting them on the internet. I have a large family and photo's of each other has been a large part of our lives. I am no longer able to photograph my sibling as I have exhausted this area. I prefer to take photo's of exotic plants and locations. I am interested in this competition as I love to travel and meet people. I like to learn about the way they live their lives. I like to see where they live and put the pieces together. Eventually I am able to tell their story in many ways. In the last five years I have travelled to Los Angeles, Samoa and Fiji. All the remaining photographs have been stolen and I have no idea what became of them. This annoys me as I like to store my work so I can go back and analyse my work. I have never been to Africa and am willing to experience the lfestyle of this great nation. I have never seen their wildlife and would love to photograph them. I do listen to their music and it's many levels. I have grown up listening to reggae music and experienced the loss of great artists in this field. I can tell the difference between colour and the different filters used to take a good photo. I understand flash photography but am not an expert in any of these characters. I was taught and have not worked in this field. So going on this trip would be an excellent advantage not only for me but for you. Thank you for letting me take part in this survey.
