-Cheonggyecheon river
I walked down the stairs to find, among the towering buildings. Instantly soothing scenery, presented in front of the eye, which is a very clear river surrounded by mosaic tiles along the walls, telling stories about the history of the South.
In the mid-1950s, Chonggyechon regarded as a symbol of poverty and gross area half a century due to the legacy of colonialism and war. 1971 turned into a powered industrial waste area, then be made on the rivers freeway. On the initiative of Lee Myung-bak in 2003, restoration of Chonggyechon a friendly neighborhood environment and restore the natural function of the river begin done.
Freeway demolished, replaced by a modern transport system Bus Rapid Transit line.
In the river, tourists can soak the foot to the river (stream) so it feels very soothing in the rhythm seoul very dense and active. Cheonggyecheon river above there are shopping centers, and open spaces that are usually used for events and art exhibitions.
At night, the river is decorated with dim lights and lasers thus adding to the beauty and draw a crowd.
-Gwanghamun Gate, Gyeongbok Palace, Sejong Statue
Gwanghamun gate is the gate of Gyeongbok palace which was once the residence of King Sejong, King South Korea's most famous for successfully empowering people and creating Hangeul letters.Directly behind the statue a statue of King Sejong-Admiral Yi Sun Shin namely A Korean Navy commander known for his battles against the Japanese. The statue was surrounded by dozens point fountain. At night the water fountain accompanied with lights so very beautiful.
-National Folk Museum of Korea, Bukchon Village
Here I am amazed at the seriousness of the South Korean government made a very interesting museum, even if information is ancient history but is packed with advanced technology so it is not boring. Good lighting and modern decor make this place far from "museum".
Out of the museum, we were in Bukchon hanok village is the ancient heritage area.
-Namsan Tower, Teddy Bear Museum, Observatory
Afternoon to evening is the best time to visit Namsan Tower, the place is often found in the drama / movie korea.
In addition to enjoying a view of Seoul from the top of the tower.Namsan is also contained in the Teddy Bear Museum. Koreans believe that their ancestor was a bear, the whole simulation is told with the teddy bear show chronicles the history of Seoul from past to present.
South Korea was definitely one of my best trips. It's truly an amazing country where I experienced such great times there. I would not say "good bye".......I would rather say "till we meet again"!
