Curiosity for me is the desire to know, to see, and most important to understand. It has always been there burning brightly, transforming me a little with each new experience and this day it has brought me here and revealed something amazing… You’ve pushed along a path and come to a stopping point. The view is beautiful but still there is the knowledge that you could go further. You’ve come so far already and you’re tired, so you rest. Still the promise from those who have come before draws you from the bench up the path once more. You hear their talk of the winds in your face, the sheer beauty of the mountains, lakes, and colors that could transform your soul. Tired, but finally it’s there. Breathless, you feel the strong earth holding you still, and taste the salt on your lips. You are undone, all that you were, all that you are, and all that you could be is stilled and you hear it, your heart… It’s beating so loud. Your breath is racing as your lungs try so desperately to fill you with the wonder that surrounds you. All that was promise is there and what is more you see yourself reflected in those pure waters. I saw there that it was time to return and reapply for school just one more time. I'd rested long enough; it was time to continue. I was ready for my curiosity to lead me up my next mountain. I made it up Mt. John under my own power. Going back to school however, I must ask for help. I have a long journey ahead of me and I can supply the same dedication to get me through but the rest I’m hoping you can help provide.
