The black & white photo at the top was taken by me. The man smiling is Meme Sherpa, and he is the man I lived with for a couple of weeks in the Himalayas. The color photo below is a photo he took of me moments after I captured the above photo. This is what travel photography should be like, and I curse at the countless photographers out there intruding on people with their big lenses and their fame-hungry photographic style.
