Nature beauties

GEORGIA | Tuesday, 19 May 2015 | Views [212] | Scholarship Entry

Last September I had a chance to visit Abkhazia, a small part of Russia, which belonged to Georgia until the beginning of the twentieth century. The Abkhazians call their state "Apsny", etymologically this word means " land of the soul" and for me it absolutely defines this beautiful part of the world. I travelled quite a lot for the past few years, I have visited a lot of cities and my deep love for water - oceans and seas, leaded me to different places across Europe. But I have never seen sea like in New Afone. Deep, blue, calm and warm, it gives you a chance to swim far away from the coast. And then you turn around to swim back, your breath is taken away by fantastic enormous mountains, covered with old green trees and tiny adorable houses. It is absolutely amazing, how the nature found this perfect harmony with the human being in this place.
