twenty thoughts in egypt

EGYPT | Friday, 2 August 2013 | Views [403]

#1 roaming goats, how do people know whose goats are whose?

#2 the handle on the butchers knife made of goat skin complete with ginger fur, hygenic?

#3 cats love playing with plastic bags, not expensive toys

#4 where does all the wind blown rubbish end up?

#5 dead palm trees with flapping fronds still have a presence despite being dead

#6 digging a trench and laying pipe thats already cracked?

#7 accepting lifts from strangers, sometimes you just have to throw caution to the wind

#8 meeting someone that asks you if your cat is okay because it is making that sound. That sound being a purr, never heard that before!

#9 the distinct white rimmed sunglasses that frame a brown face

#10 an old lady that accepts a bag of spinach scraps for her donkey from a stranger

#11 a conversation between two people speaking different languages and coming away from it realising that you have no idea what on earth it was about!

#12 realising that you bought a packet of frozen squid instead of fish

#13 making bread for the first time and feeling like you are Tom Hanks in the Movie Castaway "i made fire" he said beating his chest with his fists, for me, more like "i am earth mother!"

#14 your heart missing a beat when you realise that your cat has just fallen off the balcony

#15 wondering why near enough all futuristic movies are all doom and gloom, should we not learn something from this?

#16 bloody feedback forms, only there to make you feel like your comment is worthwhile and to pacify you

#17 isn't it wonderful when your partner tells you that you are not normal

#18 being served an ice cold drink complete with an ice cube and an attached bit of plastic

#19 cars routinely driving at night without their lights on?

#20 buying a new sheet and reading on the packaging "mad in Egypt" humm?
