    Saying good-bye to her parents, her home and her childhood. Everybody tried to throw a glance at this emotional event, where the village kids turned into husband and wife by: lombok Views[221] the procession took place on the main street of her village in southern Lombok, where all the participants and the orchestra marched to her parents' house. the bridal couple and their families are expected to be serious throughout the entire ceremony which lasts for 4 days. In fact she really was in a sad mood during the whole time. by: lombok Views[291] Indonesian bandbus: The drum orchestra also accompanied us on our way to the bride's village. All musicians in traditional Sasak uniform with sarong, jacket and „udeng“, the headkerchief. Also present: the „Beleq“ (a big cylindrical drum) by: lombok Views[222] the groom's father shows off an intense dance. According to tradition, he drank a glass of blood mixed with oil, and danced in a kind of trance with a dagger on his chest. This symbolizes that he'll take away his son's spiritual pain for a bright future in a new life. by: lombok Views[230] the groom's relatives and other villagers gather together at the house of his parents to celebrate the second day of the wedding ceremony.
