Most of the old people were born in Russia, and moved to Moldova. Because of this, there are conflict between population, because some of them want European Union way and others groups want Russia Federation way.

This project tries to narrate visually across a series of portraits and certain photos the current state of the population of the poorest country of Europe. The big economic crises are not new for Moldavia, which after its independence of the U. R. S. S in 1991 its economy brought in in free fall.
The enormous poverty through that the country lives does that he is a victim of other evil like the human trafficking, the corruption in all the spheres and the massive abandonment of niños. The average salary is 100 euros a month, reason for which a quarter of the Moldavian population works abroad. In fact they have a phrase that he says so “If the people stop sending money to Moldavia, there is no economy”. Mostly the workpeople who go abroad are parents who live illegally out, and that's why they cannot visit its country again.
Still there exist the people who looks behind with yearning, the old years of the USSR and the communism, being able to see symbols of these in certain cities.
The population is faced between progeny of Russians and Moldavians of Rumanian ethnic group, clash that increased after the happened next. To all the already above mentioned problems, there is that añadirle that of Transnistria, a territory illegally independent from a civil war lived in 1992 that divided the country leaving it without its industrial part. The winning edict triumphed thanks to the support of the Russian army, who since then has in Transnistria an illegal weapon market. After the conflict in
Ukraine - country that was in a political situation very similar to that of Moldavia - Russia has interest again in this small ground piece.
It is possible to be said undoubtedly, that Moldavia is the next Ukraine.
